Art 29 : Sketchbook
Not much to say here — as suggested, my last few weeks of summer vacation are going to be spent in an extensive relationship with the living-room couch. I do actually doodle something post-worthy from time to time, though, so here’s what I’ve been up to the past week.
Ford Prefect from Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, as described in the book and not the radio show or movie, which, as you may or may not know, are completely different in many respects. His left shoulder is rotated too far back, and he should looks too much like Hanna Cross, but on the whole I’m pretty happy with it.
Hours of playing Minecraft have produced this, an under-detailed sketch of an Ender Man, de-blocked. And by “de-blocked” I mean “how I think one would look if it didn’t live in a universe where all form of matter is arranged in convenient three-foot-high cubes”. This is in fact less similar to what it would probably actually look like, but I wanted to go for something with more sharp, pointy bits that looked sorta like a Xenomorph, and this is what I came up with.
That is all.
